We are taking down barriers to education holding back the advancement of the Portuguese people.

Advancing access to education
Everyone should have equal access to an education. To make it so, we have created an innovative, non-profit student financing solution. ISAº FJN is a portal to a high quality, forward-looking education, no matter your age, background or financial situation.

We are making lifelong learning possible for students, recent graduates and adults alike. We are increasing the number of skilled professionals who seek an upskill or reskill to update themselves and keep up with the transition into a digital economy. And we are helping students understand which skills the jobs of the future will require, so they can make better educational decisions and access professional opportunities.

2.
Developing the skills of the future

What will the jobs of the future look like? Preparing for the coming changes in the job market requires data. We are using our open platform to help those with a willingness to learn access relevant informant and make better decisions – a knowledge base on the Portuguese labor market, equipped with facts and figures on jobs, salaries, courses and demand trends, from trusted education providers and employers. We call it Brighter Future.

Challenging our educational status-quo

We intend to explore all forms of learning that might lead to an improvement in the quality of education. Society is undergoing a profound transformation: the digital transition and social mobility have brought significant changes to the way individuals prepare for their professional lives that are both challenging and stimulating.

For a digital nation, it is essential to develop skills such as logical thinking, problem-solving, cooperation, creativity, and also the ability to challenge long established views.
We want everyone to make the best possible use of these universal skills. We provide an opportunity to learn and develop new ideals, theories, products and knowledge - whether through formal or informal learning, full-time or part-time classes, in a room or in your mobile, all the time or just now and then – ours is a flexible approach, tailored to the speed of the digital age.
